ARMED police officers were called out following reports of a person in possession of a meat cleaver.
The Cheshire and North Wales Alliance Armed Policing Unit revealed details of the incident on social media shortly before 3am on Sunday.
A spokesman said officers were deployed to the South Flintshire area "due to reports of a male in possession of a meat cleaver."
The team thanked the National Police Air Service for its assistance in connection with the incident.
