A MERCEDES car was seized in Llay after the driver was found to have no insurance.
Officers from the North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit stopped the car on Tuesday evening.
The driver was found to have no insurance and was only a provisional licence holder.
The team tweeted: "This Merc was seized in Llay, Wrexham.
"Driver was only a provisional licence holder...so no insurance either.
"Driver will now be dealt with for the offences."
Earlier on the same day, officers from the unit clocked another car being driven at over 120mph on the A55.

They stopped the car at Pentre Berw on Anglesey and found that the driver was not insured.
The unit tweeted: "If you're going to drive with no insurance don't draw attention to yourself by driving at speed
"Driver caught at 122mph on A55 w/bound carriageway near Pentre Berw earlier. Insurance expired 11th Sep 2020
"Ticket issued for both offences and car seized."
