FIREFIGHTERS were called out to help a person get out of the River Dee.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a request for assistance from police was received just before 4.50pm on Tuesday reporting the incident in River Lane, Saltney.
A water rescue unit and a fire crew from Deeside attended the scene with a water ladder and helped to bring the person to shore.
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed it was also alerted to the incident but an ambulance was not required.
