AS the dark nights come drawing in, residents are being urged to keep their homes safe.
Officers of North Wales Police's Community Safety East department are warning that as the nights draw in, burglars will more likely steal valuables from houses they believe are empty.
Residents are being urged to make their homes look occupied in a bid to deter thieves.
A spokesman said: "It's that time of year again already. The nights are drawing in and burglars want to steal your valuables from houses that they believe to be empty.
"Make it look like you're home by using light timer switches, don't make it easy for thieves."
