It's that time of year again, when children learn ridiculously catchy songs (Big Red Combine Harvester anyone?) and take take fruit and veg, and tins to school.
Yes it's the harvest festival.
The tradition in some form goes back to pagan times, and was a celebration of thanks for successful harvests.
These days the occasion often includes singing hymns and decorating churches, chapels and schools with and food offerings. This is usually distributed among those in need and senior citizens of the local community, or used to raise funds.
We look back at some harvest festival moments from schools across the region.
