TWO people were arrested following the execution of a warrant by Wrexham police.

North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team announced the outcome via social media on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesman said: "Officers executed a search warrant this morning leading to the arrest of two males and the recovery of property.

"This followed a series of burglaries in the area of Moss, Rhostyllen and Wrexham town in recent days.

"Burglary, especially that of domestic properties, is one of the most invasive offences you could experience.

"The thought of a trespasser in your home, going through your most intimate possessions and then taking items that are linked to precious memories or just simply something you have worked hard to purchase is horrific.

"We are committed to protecting you from these individuals."
