RESIDENTS have shared their photos following a warning of severe thunderstorms across the region.
The Met Office put an amber warning in place earlier this evening, warning of "large hail, frequent lightning and gusty winds."
Social media users have been posting their pictures of the lightning in Wrexham including the above photo from @SamJlowe in Ruabon and below from @MLand81, taken in Penycae.
Further yellow thunderstorm warnings are in place from tomorrow (Thursday) until Monday.
