A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of wounding after an incident in Buckley.

Emergency services were seen at the Prince of Wales Court in Buckley during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

One man was taken to hospital after sustaining non-life threatening injuries.

A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "We were called to an address in Prince of Wales Court Buckley just after 2am this morning.

"A man had sustained serious, but non- life threatening laceration wounds to his hand and was treated by officers until an ambulance arrived.

"A 32 year old local man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and is in custody."

Welsh Ambulance Service was also seen in the area.

A spokesman added: "We were called on Wednesday 12 August at approximately 02:01 am to reports of a person needing emergency medical attention on Prince of Wales Court, Buckley.

"We responded with one emergency ambulance. One patient was transported to Wrexham Maelor Hospital."
