AN appeal has been made for donations of school uniforms in Wrexham.
Working in partnership with Home Start Wrexham, retailer Co-op will be passing on the donated items, such as jumpers, skirts, trousers, stationary and any other sort of school items to families across the county.
Items donated must be in a new or good condition and placed in a sealed back when dropping them off at all Co-op food stores in the area.
Donations can also be dropped off at E Clarke Funeralcare, based at Pentre Felin, from Monday to Friday, between 9am until 5pm.
Lisa Jones, a funeral arranger and member pioneer at the Co-operative, who is now based at E Clarke Funeralcare, spoke of the importance of community spirit in order to help those less fortunate.
She said: "Please support us as we would like to help as many families as we can across Wrexham.
"Any donation no matter how small will be given to a family in need."
