HOMES were evacuated as firefighters tackled a blaze in Kinmel Bay earlier today.
Crews from Rhyl and Colwyn Bay were on the scene at Aber Clwyd as a shed caught fire and surrounding houses had to be evacuated.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at 11.37am. The incident was brought under control by 12.21.
"Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel water jets.
"All properties involved were evacuated and no one was injured."
