A KINMEL Bay man who admitted burgling a woman’s home with a boy, while she was in hospital having given birth, was jailed for a year on Tuesday.

Duncan Bridge, 24, of Roseview Crescent, left a fingerprint on a stolen TV and all the haul was recovered, Mold crown court heard.

But Recorder Paul Lewis QC said “considerable trauma” had been caused.

Defence counsel Simon Killeen said there was remorse and Bridge had written a letter of apology to the victim. The offence was 15 months ago.

A prosecution error after the teen was dealt with previously had resulted in the case file being “terminated” and delay in Bridge’s case.
