WREXHAM residents are being urged to continue to donate blood despite Covid-19.
Earlier this week (August 3), Cllr Phil Rees, of Gwersyllt North ward, took to social media to highlight the importance of residents continuing their support for the Welsh Blood Service, who are now in need of donations more than ever.
He posted: "Demand from hospitals is increasing and may go up as much as 10 per cent, but as the pandemic rolls on, and people start returning to work and some sort of normality, maintaining supplies is a challenge.
"Donating Blood can only take minutes to give, but could last a lifetime for someone in need.
"Please help if you can."
The Welsh Blood Service will be located at Gwyn Evans Leisure and Activity Centre between August 10 and 11.
