A FLINTSHIRE woman who challenged herself to 'give something back' has raised hundreds for charity.
Samantha Magness, from Buckley, has decided to raise £550 and donate 13 inches of her own hair to the Little Princess Trust.
This will allow one wig to be made for a young child who is battling cancer.
Having faced the chop on July 31, Samantha surpassed her fundraising target and brought in over £700 for the charity.
She said: "It went really well."
Anyone wishing to donate can do so online at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Samantha-magness
Samantha previously told the Leader: "There are lots of children and young people who suffer and battle cancer. It affects their self-confidence and esteem.
"I know people who have been through their own personal cancer battle so I just thought it would be a nice thing to do."
