Our high streets have long been a source of unique, specialist and independent traders, and many have gone above and beyond during the Covid-19 pandemic, facing uncertain futures as lockdown struck.

Some adapted, others embraced the power of social media or became part of the nation's army of helpers and volunteers in their community.

But even in tough times such as these, there are a number of traders across Wrexham and Flintshire who continued to provide their customers with the best possible service.

At the Leader, we hope to shine a light on an exceptional trader each week who goes the extra mile for their customers or has fought the odds to go from strength to strength.

You can tell us about your own business or let us know about one you believe deserves their moment in the spotlight.

And as lockdown eased, more and more traders have been able to open their doors again, changing how they do things to meet new safety measures.

Now they can get back to serving the communities that appreciate them so much, possibly even more.

Let's get behind our high streets and traders!
