CONNAH'S Quay High street has reopened following a crash.
At 8.50am, North Wales Police made a social media post to alert morning road users in the Connah’s Quay area that part of the town’s shopping area would be closed following a ‘collision’.
A spokesman for the force said: “Please be aware, the High Street in Connah's Quay by Festival Gardens will be closed for the foreseeable time due to a road traffic collision.”
At the time, traffic logs stated that vehicles were building in the B5129 area due to an accident near Maude Street Car Park.
Eye witnesses told the Leader the delays were caused after a car and a motorbike collided.
Emergecy services attended the scene but a Welsh Ambulance Service Spokesman confirmed they were not needed.
The incident was cleared just over an hour later shortly after 10.20am.
