• Alison Hughes, from Wrexham: "I have three cats. Milly Moo is five and she is so tiny for her age. Jerry Pie is also five and is a mummy's boy. Smokey is the son to the other two, and is four and still acts like a child."

• Jennifer Johnson, from Pen y Ffordd: "This is my beautiful cat Marco. The first picture is when he was young and learning all about the world. The second picture is when middle age set in, and comfort became the most important thing."

• Jordan Jones, from Garden Village, Wrexham: "This is Sassy, she's nearly five-years-old. I adopted her from Cats Protection Wrexham."

• Mel Hough, from Connah's Quay: "This is Lester. When he was six-months-old he woke us up with an usual bark at 3am. It turns out he was warning us about a burglary at our home. I got up to see what he was barking at and saw a large person in the shadows, already broke the lock. I shouted to the would-be burglars, three of them, and they fled. I will never tell him not to bark now. He communicates with us."
