A MOLD woman has died amid a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding her admission to hospital.
The Leader reported on Monday that on Friday (July 2020), a 48-year old-woman from Mold was admitted to Wrexham Maelor Hospital, where her condition subsequently deteriorated to critical.
And North Wales Police said on Tuesday afternoon that she sadly died Monday on night.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are investigating the circumstances leading up to her admittance, and are aware of a previous allegation of assault which is believed to have taken place between July 2 and July 8.
"On Saturday, July 18, a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of S18 Assault and released on police bail pending further enquiries."
