AN Ellesmere Port man has admitted breaching his Sexual Harm Prevention Order by deleting his internet history.
Brian Norman Gerard Woolfall, 37, of Huxley Court, pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 14 to the breach, said to have happened between February 18 and 20.
Prosecuting, Alan Currums said Woolfall complied with the police when told to hand over his iPhone 6.
Woolfall had been searching for escorts in the Chester and Ellesmere Port areas, and had deleted those searches from his internet history as he was embarrassed and did not want police or his partner to find out.
Defending, Adam Antoszkiw said police did not find any "illicit" images on the internet history or anything that could have linked to that.
It was the first breach of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which had originally been imposed in September 2016.
A pre-sentence report was requested.
The case was adjourned and Woolfall will be sentenced on August 21. He was released on unconditional bail.
