CARE home staff will cycle 1,292 miles to raise money for a memorial garden to remember residents lost during the pandemic.

Staff at Bradshaw Manor Care Home in Rhyl will cycle the distance this July, the equivalent from London to Inverness and back, using spinning bikes which have been donated by Rhyl Boxing Club and Summerhouse out Of School Club.

Money will also be raised for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation

Emma Crompton, activities co-ordinator at Bradshaw Manor said: “We love to fundraise for charities and different causes throughout the year that has been selected by staff, residents and friends of the home. Barchester’s Charitable Foundation is a great cause that helps many people in need.

"We are also raising money towards a memorial garden in memory of our residents we have lost recently.

"We feel really proud to have been able to raise this money."
