CLWYD South MP Simon Baynes has welcomed the recent announcement of additional UK Government funding for service charities.
Some £6 million of new funding will go to service charities across the UK.
Altogether, 100 charities in Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland will benefit from almost £6m of UK Government funding.
Mr Baynes said: “This will be welcome news for Welsh Armed Forces charities who I know do such excellent work supporting veterans, service families – including children – and serving Regular and Reserve personnel.
"It’s an announcement which will be all the more welcome as we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Both my father and grandfather served in the Armed Forces so this is a cause which is very close to my heart.
"If there are any members of the Armed Forces community in Clwyd South who need advice on accessing support, I’d encourage you to get in touch with me on simon.baynes.mp@parliament.uk and I’ll help in any way I can.”
