A SENIOR councillor spoke of his delight as traders are welcomed back to an arts and market venue.

Ty Pawb will reopen its doors today (Wednesday) between 10am and 4pm, with selected food court traders offering take-away until 6pm.

A spokesman for the venue confirmed the car park will also be open today, offering free parking, and the toilets will also be open with safety measures in place.

"We've taken measures to help make sure the building can be as safe as possible for everyone," the spokesman continued.

"A one way system will be in place and there will be hand sanitising stations at the entrances and social distancing reminders located around the building.

"There will be a staff member at each entrance to give guidance and answer any queries."

Cllr Hugh Jones, Wrexham Council’s lead member for communities, partnerships, public protection and community safety, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming our traders back and open the doors to the public once more.

"We've taken measures to help make sure the building can be as safe as possible for everyone."

Cllr Jones said as well as the one way system and hand sanitizing stations, there will also be restrictions on the number of people allowed in the building at any one time.
