MEMBERS of a junior football club are walking 500 miles in a matter of days to raise vital funds for the club and a local hospice charity.
The youth section of Holywell Town FC has pledged to complete the feat by this coming Wednesday in aid of St Kentigern Hospice - a St Asaph based hospice offering free palliative care, as well as to raise vital funds for the club.
The club's Youth Committee has taken on the challenge after their upcoming events to raise vital funds for the club were been stopped due to Covid-19.
Knowing how other organisations and charities are currently suffering financially due to the pandemic, the committee has decided to share all money raised with St Kentigern Hospice.
