Happy Father's Day: Celebrating some of your fabulous fellas across Wrexham and Flintshire

• Adam, Callum, Jake and Ffion Kynaston, spoke about their dad, Matthew Kynaston: "Our dad is special because he is our super hero. He will do anything for us and always makes us happy when we are sad. It's also his birthday on Father's Day."

• Cadi and Carys Hughes, from Gwersyllt, said of their dad Carl Hughes: "You're the best dad in the world, thank you for everything you do for us xx"

• Caitlin Ann Edwards, from Wrexham, wants to wish her dad, Daniel Lewis Hughes, a very happy Father’s Day.

• Cameron, Joel and Samson Ellis, from Wrexham, had this to say about dad Lee Ellis: "He's amazing because he looks after us and loves us more than anything. And he has a new seven-week-old baby called Samson. He does everything for us he is an amazing man and we are so lucky to call him our dad!! We love him so much."

• Claire Hooson, from Wrexham, said of her dad, Peter Hooson: "For being amazing and there for us 24/7, whenever we need him he’s always there full of wise words. "Couldn’t ask for a better granddad for my kids, constantly helping out with Amelia, Layla and George."Went above and beyond to help me during the pandemic so I could work extra shifts for the NHS x"

• Lucy Whiteside, from Shotton, said of her husband Michael Whiteside: "My husband is the best daddy to our three children - Ted, Penelope and Pippa. "He is current stuck working overseas, so we haven’t seen him since December. He was due home in April but due to COVID he can’t get back and we miss him so so much."

• Katie Harman, from New Broughton, said this about M Naylor: "Stepped up and became our dad 32 years ago. Gave in and married our mum 20 years ago. Still protecting, guiding and inspiring us everyday. Lots of love on daddy's day, Chris, Nick and Katie xxxx"

• Danielle Regan on Anthony Griff Denman, from Wrexham: "To daddy, you are one of my favourite people. You make me giggle constantly, you make sure playtime is all the time and you have even taught me how to spit my food all over mummy. You were the first person to give me my very first cuddle, I love you very much. Happy first Father’s Day, Love LLio-rose xxx"

• Oliver Williams, from Wrexham, said about his dad Ben Williams: "My daddy is the best. Not only does he play with me every but he gets me to wash my hair and brush my teeth and always reads me great stories. While mummy works long and hard hours, he keeps me in a routine and does everything at home so mummy can rest when she isn't working!"This means I get to have fun times with mummy and lots of cuddles!"

• Kara Downward, from Rhostyllen, had this to say about dad Steve Downward: "Steve Downy is the most caring man I know. He will do absolutely anything for anyone. Heart of gold and always full of happiness. He is known as the village legend. He has been there for me and my little girl through the toughest times of our lives and continues to support us daily. We don't know what we would do without our fantastic Paps and Gramps.He really is DADDY COOL! Love him lots."

• Lucy Goodwin said this about her dad, Bernie Lovelock: "Happy Father's Day to Bernie Lovelock of Mold. He has had a painful and difficult year so far but continues to make all of his children and grandchildren proud of his strength, determination and pride. We love you very much dad."
