We gave new mums who gave birth during lockdown the chance to share their baby with the world, as we remain at home and apart from family because of Covid-19.

"Jacob was delivered at home by daddy at 1.45am whilst the ambulance crew was on the way, as there was no time to get to the hospital. Baby healthy and fine and enjoying some lockdown snuggles.

"Dad has been joking saying he should be a midwife. He had help from the emergency call centre whilst we awaited for the ambulance crew.

"Mum didn't need to go to hospital after, we all just stayed at home."

"I was sent in to be induced on the birth of my little girl. I went in at 6.30am Tuesday, and had her Friday at 6.55am. The midwife was so helpful and tried to make it the best experience, even though I was so lonely waiting on her to arrive. It’s such a scary time to be having a child with the madness of the world at the moment. I would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the great job they are doing in this weird time."

OLIVER-LEE HUGO ELSON born on April 25 at Wrexham

"Oliver was born one day before his due date by induction. This lasted three days before I was sent to labour ward, those days were spent alone due to Covid-19 not allowing visitors into the hospital. Labour lasted 18 hours. We became proud parents at 00:45 and welcomed our beautiful baby boy into this world. Kyle got to spend two hours with us before going home, although I was very grateful that the doctors and midwives got us both safely home in less that 12 hours after delivery."
