What a beautiful spring we are experiencing right now.

One of the many perks of living in Powys is having green rolling hills and picturesque rivers on our doorstep.

And we have been enjoying seeing how our fantastic Camera Club members have been spending time on daily walks during the lockdown.

They have been out and about within their local area capturing the wonderful sights of rural mid Wales.

From capturing the beautiful light and reflections of the Montgomery Canal in Buttington, to a fluffy gosling resting near a lake, we are truly being spoilt by nature at this time of year.

Please keep sharing your pictures with the Powys County Times Camera Club.

Pictures play an important role in illustrating what is going on in our area – especially during the recent period in lockdown.

And we are often spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing which readers’ pictures to use – they’re all brilliant.

Good quality cameras on mobile phones and tablets mean everyone is capable of capturing a stunning shot that can compete with those taken through an expensive lens.

The Powys County Times Camera Club is open to anyone with an eye for a great photo.
