A GWYNEDD man has been sentenced to three years in jail after pleading guilty to a charge of Section 20 Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH).
David Brian John, 35 and from Bangor, also pleaded guilty to breaching his criminal behaviour order, which has now been extended for a further five years.
Detective Inspector Andy Gibson said: "On April 22 2020, David Brian John assaulted a vulnerable male inside a block of flats in Maesgeirchen, Bangor.
"He repeatedly punched the male and caused serious internal head injury. The imprisonment of this dangerous individual is welcome news for the local community – this was a vicious and sustained attack on a vulnerable person."
