TWO young dogs that were stolen from Ruthin earlier this week have been found in Flintshire.
North Wales Police Rural Crime Team took to social media to share the happy ending of the story which has touched the heart of many across the community.
An appeal was launched on June 2 after two Cocker Spaniels were stolen from Llanfair – a four-year-old male called Teal and a one-year-old female called Nell.
The owner was left heartbroken and NWPO received a ‘massive response’.
As a result, the team found the dogs in Flintshire where they were ‘confused and sad’ but were extremely happy to be reunited with their owner.
A spokesman said: “Thanks to everyone who retweeted or shared the story...you made the difference.
“Very proud of our team for an excellent investigation and result.”
