RESIDENTS in North Wales are being urged to stay safe during the warmer weather conditions.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service took to social media today (June 1), to warn the public that even though the country is currently experiencing and enjoying the soar in temperature, fire safety must remain a priority, especially to reduce demand for emergency services during the pandemic.
They posted: "We have been called to a number of grass and gorse fires over recent days and the sunny weather is predicted to continue.
"Please stay safe to reduce demand - now is not the time to be burning or starting fires in the open as they can quickly spread out of control."
