FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a blaze involving a bus and containers at an industrial estate near Southampton.
Multiple fire crews are currently battling the smoke circling the container site, on Station Road, Nursling.
One passer-by said the smoke cloud can be seen from as a far as Millbrook Roundabout.
According to firefighters, they initially were called to what they believed was a forest fire, however upon their approach came to realise it was an industrial fire.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Redbridge, St Mary's, Eastleigh, Romsey, Ringwood and HQ were mobilised at 1.36pm to Station Road.
"There is currently a fire involving a bus and containers.
"There are no casualties involved."
"The stop message came in at 23:04 last night, saying it was extinguished using two main jets, two hose reel jets, an ultra high-pressure lance, two breathing apparatus’ and compressed air foam solution.
"In the end, the fire involved a bus, containers, propane and acetylene cylinders and a portacabin."
