WE asked Leader readers to get in touch and share a thank you message to the hundreds of key workers who are heading out to work and keeping Flintshire and Wrexham going in unprecedented times - despite the threat of the coronavirus pandemic.

Hundreds of people responded to our call, praising a key worker that they knew. From shop assistants keeping shelves filled with essentials and council workers maintaining services as best they can, to the care workers and NHS staff helping to heal and keep people safe from Covid-19.

We continue to shine the spotlight on our everyday heroes, the amazing key workers of our county…
