POLICE have said regular patrols will be in place over the bank holiday weekend after officers had to disband two groups of people playing football in Wrexham.
Wrexham Town policing team made the post on their social media page about two separate incidents where they needed to break up football games being played in the Brickfield area.
A spokesman for the team said: “PC Smith has just put a stop to two separate games of football on the Brickfield. There will be regular patrols across parks this weekend & positive action will be taken when necessary.”
Current guidelines in Wales say that you cannot visit friends or relatives in their houses or indoors - nor can you gather in a larger group with people who are not from your household.
The government's scientific advice states that any interaction with those outside your own household should be kept socially distanced at six feet apart.
