WREXHAM Council are encouraging youngsters to take part in Tŷ Pawb's May half term online.

The activities involved are all inspired by the arts hub very first exhibition, 'Is This Planet Earth?', which imagines what aliens might put in a museum about Earth and our extraordinary nature if they would never had gotten the opportunity to visit.

A spokesperson for Wrexham Council, said: "There were lots of brilliant bugs in the show, so our amazing artist team have put together a week of mighty mini-beast makes for you to try at home.

"Save your recycling, as you’re going to need these items for Tŷ Pawb’s online half term activities."

Items needed for the online activities include cereal boxes or other thin card, toilet roll tubes, a jam or sauce jar, a milk or juice carton, a butter or spread tub, netting from fruit bags, tin foil and carrier bags.

The council has also advised what equipment will be needed to participate in the online activities, which include scissors, PVA, glue stick or sticky tape, crayons, colouring pencils, felt-tips or markers, a stapler, a needle and thread and finally a grown-up helper.
