POLICE in Wrexham have conducted an operation targetting rogue traders in the area.
North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural Team said its officers conducted an operation on Wednesday against "those who might deliberately over change vulnerable members of our community for poor quality work".
The team said officers "disrupted" those suspected in being involved in painting the drive and footpath of an elderly male, with officers believing the work to be "poor quality".
The matter is said to have been passed to Wrexham Council's Trading Standards department and that police will work together with Trading Standards "to protect the victim and prosecute for any offences that may be disclosed."
