WREXHAM Council has released a list of the most popular e-audiobooks and e-books amongst residents.
As libraries remain closed due to the pandemic, many people are taking advantage of free services using their library cards.
In fact, the number of checkouts has increased by an average of 63 per cent across the UK.
At Wrexham Library there are a wide range of e-books and e-audiobooks for adults, children and teenagers, with the number one e-audiobooks for adults being 'Date with Death' by Julia Chapman, for children it is 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' by J. K. Rowling and among teens is it 'Counting by 7s' by Holly Goldberg Sloan.
Wrexham’s number one e-books are, 'Tell me a Lie' by CJ Carver amongst adults, 'Eagle Strike' by Anthony Horowitz for children and 'Stepsister' by Jennifer Donnelly which has proven popular with teenagers.
A spokesperson for Wrexham Council, said: "E-books from your library are a great way to escape into a new book now you can’t browse the library shelves in person, while the e-audiobooks make a brilliant companion to your daily exercise.
"Both are free, easy to download and are returned automatically if you don’t renew, so you don’t have to worry about fines."
