AS the coronavirus pandemic continues and life as we know it has changed, the lockdown is undoubtedly taking its toll on families across North Wales. We gave residents across Flintshire and Wrexham the chance to tell their loved ones how much they are missed.

Belinda Jones said: “My mum Bernadette Hind is in Stansty Nursing Home where I work but I’m on a 12-week shielding because of illnesses so I haven’t seen her. She’s been in hospital and was not allowed visitors but I’m missing her so much.”

Michelle Lewis said: “This is my 17-month-old daughter Bella. She is missing all her family loads and can’t wait to have cuddles with them. We love and miss them so much.”

Juliet Robinson said: “Miss our little granddaughter who’s a very cheeky girl, she is always doing acrobatics and showing off on camera when we FaceTime! Looking forward to a big cuddle and kiss from Meggy who’s nearly two. Looking forward to giving our grandson Carson a big hug, nearly seven months old now and in these last few months he’s learned to sit up and say mama, watching them on the phone is lovely but it’s not the same as being there for them.”
