A health board has set up three new Covid-19 assessment centres, bringing the total in North Wales to 15.
The centres do not test for the novel coronavirus strain, but people with appropriate symptoms can be referred an appointment to them by telephoning their GP.
The three new centres are at Glanfa GP Practice in Bangor, Llandudno Junction Leisure Centre and Hwb Yr Hen Ysgol Fitness Suite, Llanrwst.
A Betsi Cadwaladr UHB spokesman said: “Patients will be given clear instructions on what to do when attending an appointment at a Local Assessment Centre to ensure the safety of each patient, their carer and the staff at the centre.
“Patients who need to access treatment and services should telephone their normal GP practice first to seek assistance.
“A healthcare professional will then call you back to discuss your care needs.
“If the support requested is not related to Covid-19, you may be invited to attend your normal GP surgery or a neighbouring practice for further assistance.
“If it is suspected that you may have Covid-19, then you may instead be referred to one of the Local Assessment Centres.”
Patients will be instructed what to do next when they attend the assessment centre, in line with current guidelines.
