AN investigation is ongoing following a house fire in Ellesmere Port in the early hours of this morning.
Three fire engines, two from Ellesmere Port and one from Powey Lane, attended the blaze at shortly before 12.30am at Pensby Drive, Great Sutton.
On arrival crews discovered the fire in the bedroom of the property.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
"The crews remained on scene for around one hour and 45 minutes. No-one was injured.
"An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing."
