A DESIGN department in Wrexham have created visors for frontline NHS staff during the coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Dafydd Roberts, curriculum leader for design and technology at Ysgol Rhiwabon, has used his skills to produce plastic face-guards, which prevent wearers from breathing in the virus whilst dealing with patients.
The school took to social media earlier today (April 7) to inform the public that their design and technology department have been hard at work to produce the essential pieces of equipment, which are currently in high demand by health workers.
They posted: "Our D&T department have been working to produce and distribute PPE for NHS frontline staff.
"If you are part of the local NHS staff and are struggling to get hold of PPE and would like some visors, please email Mr Roberts on RobertsD518@hwb.cymru.net."
