A DRIVER was arrested in Flintshire after being tracked down by armed officers and police dogs.
North Wales Police's roads policing unit announced early on Saturday morning that the person had been taken into custody after being located off the A55 near Caerwys.
A spokesman for the unit said a Seat Altea had failed to stop for officers and made off - but was tracked and located by Cheshire and North Wales police dog unit, the National Police Air Service and Cheshire and North Wales Alliance Armed Policing Unit.
A spokesman for the roads policing unit said: "Driver currently in custody for a number of offences including disqualified driving, dangerous driving, drug driving. Great teamwork!"
