WREXHAM'S frontline emergency service workers made a special show of support and appreciation for NHS staff at Wrexham Maelor Hospital this evening.
Police vehicles from the teams serving the county convened this evening to thank doctors, nurses and other hospital staff for their dedication during the coronavirus outbreak.
Nine police cars assembled and turned on their blue lights before officers began their applause at 8pm.

Sgt Matt Subacchi, of Wrexham Town Police, said: "We take every opportunity we can to show that we appreciate all that NHS staff and carers are doing for us at this difficult time."
Several A&E staff came out to listen to the applause.

After the applause, several cars left the car park sounding their horns.

It happened as Britain united once again at to clap the NHS workers on the frontline of the battle against coronavirus.
Some people are even starting to decorate their homes — with some lighting them up blue — to show their appreciation.
Clap for our Carers started at 8pm from the nation’s doorsteps, windows, gardens and balconies.
