A WREXHAM-based charity has temporarily closed its offices due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Groundwork North Wales, have been established since 1991 and aim to support communities in need by delivering projects across the area, in order to create better neighbourhoods, building skills, job prospects and helping people to live and work in a greener way.

The charity took to social media earlier today (April 1) stating: “The Groundwork North Wales offices are currently closed at this time.

The charity works alongside local communities, public bodies, private companies and other voluntary sector organisations to provide a number of outdoor projects that aims to benefit the area and its residents, which range from tree planting events, food fairs, litter picks plus many more.

All pre-existing events have been either postponed until a later date or have been cancelled.
