A MOLD songwriter aims to use his skills to raise funds for those on the frontline fight against coronavirus.

Owen Davies, of Organised Chaos, has written, produced and performed a new track called ‘Frontline’ which is dedicated to NHS staff.

It is hoped by releasing the song, he raises £5,000 for the NHS to help combat Covid-19, which has brought the country to its knees.

The 29-year-old told the Leader: “I was really inspired when the nation came together to clap for NHS heroes. I thought I was try my best and do my bit, I know people in the NHS too.

“I thought the only thing I can do is make music so I wrote and performed the song.

“I’d like to raise as much as I can really. This is probably the worst thing we will face in our generation and they are under immense pressure.

“I hear stories about how they are lacking in supplies so anything that I can raise will be a massive help. Any little people can donate will go a long way to helping.”

Owen said he has been performing for over 10 years and has always been ‘really keen’ on music so now he hopes his passion can raise funds for a good cause.
