HOMES were evacuated in Connah's Quay as firefighters tackled a blaze in a storage area.
The incident, which happened in Dock Road, was initially reported to North Wales Fire and Rescue Service as a flat fire just before 1.10am on Friday.
Three fire crews and two officers attended the scene.
A spokesman told the Leader an evacuation saw 23 people out of their homes while the situation was brought under control.
The cause is suspected to have been an electrical fault.
