WREXHAM Council has released a list of free online resources to support home schooling during the coronavirus outbreak.

For the primary sector, they have recommended sites such as the Great Grub Club, Go Noodle, and Twinkle, which provides fun activities around food and movement, with a range of children friendly videos on movement and mindfulness.

For primary to secondary, sites such as Hwb, which is a Welsh Government platform that contains a wide range of free resources and lessons from foundation phase to post 16, including for those with additional learning needs.

The topics cover every aspect of education from history, film-making, internet safety and Easter activities.

All children in Wales are able to access Microsoft Office for free through the site.

Other useful sites include S4C, which has resources for not only nursery to secondary pupils but adult learners too; BBC Bitesize, which has a varied range of resources for pre-school and up to post 16 and Natural Resources Wales, which has a great range of hands-on activities ranging from animals, numeracy, language, natural senses and much more.

The council also recommend sites such as The Pod, Change4life and E bug.
