WREXHAM pupils represented North Wales at a competition in Mold Law Courts.
Earlier this month, a group of Year 8 and 9 pupils from Ysgol Y Grango participated in the Young Citizens National Mock Trial competition in Mold Law Courts.
It was the first time the school has participated in the competition and the only school representing North Wales. The pupils faced stiff competition from the likes of Upton FCJ Girl’s Grammar and Liverpool College, experiened schools that participate in this competition year after year.
Seren Williams and Theo Williams were awarded ‘Best Prosecution Witnesses’ in the whole competition.
A spokesman for the school said: "The pupils came away with a new found confidence in public speaking and a hunger to compete in more public speaking competitions. Some of the pupils even wish to pursue a career in Law following the experience.
