THE stars of Classroom Call this week are primary school pupils in Llandrynog and Gellifor.
The federated schools of Ysgol Bryn Clwyd and Ysgol Gellifor were paid a visit by Kirsty Williams, the Welsh Government minister for education.
She was welcomed by pre-nursery pupils singing ‘Clap, Clap, Un, Dau, Tri’ before practicing Stone Age handprinting in the infant class. Mrs Williams then took part in meditation with junior classes.
Richard Monteiro, federation headteacher, said: “Staff and governors welcomed the opportunity to discuss education in rural schools.”
