POLICE have asked social media users to share images of a drunk driver's car that was so badly damaged officers arriving at the scene thought they were attending a fatality.
Ian Pritchard, 51, of Bretton Lane, Bretton, crashed his car near the sliproad off the A55 at Broughton in October.
He was found to have 123 miligrams of alcohol in 100 miligrams of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrams.
He was sentenced at Wrexham Magistrates on Thursday to a 14 month driving ban and he must pay £400 costs.

North Wales Police Road Policing Unit said: "Officers who turned up to the scene thought initially they were dealing with a fatal collision, somehow he walked away unscathed, however any passengers would of been fatalities."
"Mr Pritchard consumed alcohol that night and chose to drive, he's lucky to be walking away with his life today [Thursday, March 12] from court, however he has faced £400 worth of court costs and a 14 month disqualification.
"This is why we do the job we do, share these images far and wide to show people what the risks and consequences are of drink driving, we do not want to be knocking on your family or relatives doors to be delivering bad news, do NOT take this risk it's not worth it!"
