CHILDREN are being invited to take part in an Easter egg hunt in Wrexham.
The event will take place in the town centre on April 9 between 11am and 2pm.
A Wrexham Council spokesman said: “As Easter is fast approaching we’re giving early notice of a ‘Big Easter Egg Hunt’ that will take place in the town centre.
“It starts at Tŷ Pawb and little ones will make their very own Easter Basket and can have their faces painted for free.
“They’ll then be given a clue sheet showing various shops in the town centre and will set off (with their appropriate adult of course) to find the shops.
"All the shops taking part will have a basket inside full of chocolates for children to put in their own baskets and there’ll be a letter which should be put on the clue sheet.
"Once all the clues have been found it’s back to Tŷ Pawb for a small prize.
“It’s free to enter and always very popular so put the date in your diary now.”
