POLICE in Chester have confirmed that a man who feel from a multi-storey car park in the city centre was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said the 63-year-old's next of kin have been informed.
Officers were called at about 4.30pm yesterday to reports of concerns for the safety of a man near to the Grosvenor Shopping Centre.
Police and paramedics attended the scene and found that a man had fallen from the nearby multi-storey car park.
Officers have carried out a number of enquiries and the death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
