THE 10th annual Llangollen Canal Walk will be taking place on March 8.

The 10 mile sponsored walk - in aid of Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith - will allow participants to take in the beautiful scenery, incorporating the World Heritage Site of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, whilst raising funds for the children's charity.

The free walk will begin at The Trevor Basin at 10am, then taking in five miles of stunning scenery up to the Poachers’ Pocket and back again - finishing when crossing the aqueduct at around 1pm.

However, the charity will provide all walkers with sponsor forms and hopes everyone chooses to raise as much as they can to help the seriously ill children that they care for.

The event is open to all ages and dogs on a lead are welcome.

Parking will be available on the day at Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Car Park on Queen Street.

There is also an overspill and coach parking at Wimbourne Gate in Cefn Mawr - which will be signposted on the day.
